The Partnership’s response provides hard evidence to the U.S. government that the Gulf carriers’ claims are false and that those airlines have gone to great lengths to obfuscate the obvious – that massive government subsidies are propping up the three carriers. It also shows that the Gulf carriers are not creating new demand when they enter U.S. markets, and instead are diverting passengers and traffic from other airlines, causing significant harm to the U.S. aviation industry.
