The U.S. government just committed to taking a HUGE step toward ensuring Qatar Airways, Etihad Airways and Emirates Airline play by the same rules as everyone else.

The Departments of Transportation, Commerce and State have opened a comment period as they investigate the Gulf carriers for using government subsidies and undermining fair competition.

This is big – not only because the agencies are taking this matter seriously, but also because the government hears us. They know we want transparency. They know we want to protect American jobs. They know we want a level playing field for every airline.
